The artist Tinho, one of the pioneers of the Brazilian graffiti and punk skater by nature, develops in his artistic work a singular painting where the acumulation of information and the influence of skate/punk show a contemporary world full of violence, solitude and suffering. Elements easily viewed in big cities like São Paulo, Tokyo, Yokohama, Santiago, Buenos Aires and Berlin. Places where he was in different situations. He risked his first wall 13 years of age in 1986 and happened to see the world with other eyes, living in the underground suburbs on the side of punks and skater, always had a political vision of what surrounded him, motivating to produce art in the most varied media, predominating the walls of the cities he has passed.

Taratiel's work is based on estrutured compositions, more or less alive, from where she tries to scape from the figurative world to give total freedom to representativity. Taratiel's structures are the base for many and infinite transitory landscapes, something similar to undiscovered worlds, forgoten lost dimensions. Taratiel work is now in an evoluting stage, in a confrontation between static and organic, a way out to the rigid forms. It is in this confrontation where "In Between" is born, like a battle of shapes in the quest of its roots.

The amazing swiss artist arrived a few days ago and has been working hard, (despite an injured arm) to accurately demonstrate animalistika skills for the austrian crowds. The eclectic style and all that comes with it will be on display for the show and here to wow the masses. You can expect a little taste of Rio de Janeiro flavor floating around, since Tika spends a lot of time over in Brazil. And don't be surprised to see a few faces reminiscent of Frida Kahlo on display. The show, entitled "Free Animalistika" will represent the artists new experimentation with the animalistika side. Caging the imaginary animals (yet still somehow recognizable) in cramped frames/cages, hoping that someone might come along and free them...
