Há não muito tempo atrás, estávamos jogando uma cansativa partida de raqueteball e a idéia do projeto Mulheres Barbadas surgiu. Depois disso foi só uma questão de não se barbear e de basicamente, desenhar até entupir tudo (ou até cansar... o que acontecer primeiro). Até então éramos escravos das nossas máquinas: tinhamos feito tudo no photoshop. Mas para a expo fizemos nossas primeiras peças originais à mão (marcador sobre tela). Também produzimos novos originais no computador, mas impressos e assinados em série limitada apenas para o evento. O que importa é preencher todos os espaços brancos, com monstrinhos e melecas de preferencia em preto e branco.

Luciana apresenta uma série de pinturas criadas em sua nova fase. Saem o vazio e as figuras solitárias e entram temas mais femininos, cotidianos e atemporais. As pinceladas da mostra, citam clássicos do Heavy Metal e trazem referências de capas de discos dos anos 80, com influências psicodélicas e muita fluorescência. Sem abrir mão da linguagem subjetiva e figurativa, ela abordará o comportamento contemporâneo, suas bestas e suas feras.

Apo Fousek started to draw to the 3 years of age and didn't stop anymore. The drawing always was to his side as instrument of reflection, binding its universe to the people and the World. His relationship with surf and skate also comes from his childhood and always influenced him in the way to think and to develop at his artistic context. Although the concept of its designs and the conception of its workmanships are not directly linked to the surf and skate lifestyles.
